Welcome to Troistorrents
Troistorrents, gateway to the Val d’Illiez, is a peaceful, light-filled Alpine village located at 760 metres, surrounded by forests, meadows and the open mountain landscapes of the Chablais. Authentic and welcoming, it reflects the Valaisan spirit through its traditional hamlets, preserved heritage and privileged location in a nature-rich alpine setting.
Ideally positioned between the valley floor and the higher stations, Troistorrents offers easy access to Morgins, Les Crosets and Champoussin, all connected to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. In winter, visitors can reach the slopes quickly while enjoying the calm and authenticity of the village. Winter paths, snowy forests and wide mountain views enhance the experience.
In summer, Troistorrents stands out for its generous nature and heritage. Panoramic trails, walks along the Vièze and routes leading to alpine pastures offer an ideal setting to relax.
A notable highlight of the village is the Vieux Moulin suspension bridge, a charming wooden and cable footbridge over the Vièze, set in a picturesque and historic alpine environment.
Hikers, mountain bikers, paragliders and families all appreciate the harmonious surroundings dotted with traditional chalets and tranquil hamlets.
With its authenticity, quality of life and immediate proximity to the Portes du Soleil, Troistorrents offers a perfect balance between tranquillity, nature and access to mountain activities.
