Welcome to Saint-Luc

Saint Luc, located at 1650 metres on the sunny side of the Val d’Anniviers, is a bright and authentic Alpine village renowned for its exceptional panoramas and mountain charm. Facing south, it offers spectacular views of Valais’ four thousand metre peaks, including the Weisshorn and the Zinalrothorn, in a warm and peaceful atmosphere.

In winter, Saint Luc forms a sunny and varied ski area together with Chandolin, appreciated for its long runs, panoramic slopes and family friendly ambiance. The village is also known for its focus on astronomy, with the François Xavier Bagnoud telescope and sky observation activities. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing and winter trails complete the offer in a preserved Alpine environment.

In summer, nature reveals its full splendour. The famous Planet Trail, a unique educational route in Valais, leads to the observatory following a scale model of the solar system. The many trails around the village pass through forests, alpine pastures, mountain lakes and wide viewpoints, offering routes suitable for all levels. Families especially appreciate the tranquillity of the area and the many opportunities for discovery.

Saint Luc also charms with its traditional heritage, wooden chalets, old houses of Anniviers and lanes where the spirit of the valley is still alive. It is a village where nature, light and Alpine culture meet in perfect harmony.
