Welcome to Champex-Lac

Champex-Lac, set at 1,470 metres at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif, is a bright and peaceful Alpine village known for its crystal-clear lake, natural surroundings and serene atmosphere. Often referred to as the little Canada of Switzerland, it offers a unique landscape of forests, peaks and preserved Alpine nature.

In winter, Champex-Lac becomes a charming family-friendly ski resort. Its small, sunny and tranquil ski area offers accessible slopes, a chairlift, renowned cross-country trails and beautiful snowshoeing routes. The village is especially appreciated for its gentle atmosphere and its proximity to the Mont Blanc scenery.

In summer, the magic of the place unfolds around the lake, a natural jewel with turquoise reflections. Panoramic walks, pedal boats, fishing, forest trails, routes to alpine pastures and iconic hikes such as the Tour du Mont Blanc or the Val d’Arpette, considered one of the most beautiful valleys in the Valais, shape the warm season.
Nature is omnipresent, and families enjoy a peaceful environment ideal for outdoor activities and exploration.

With its enchanting lake, discreet charm and protected mountain environment, Champex-Lac is a perfect destination for those seeking tranquillity, nature and authenticity at the foot of Mont Blanc.
