Welcome to Champéry

Champéry, one of the oldest tourist villages in Switzerland, sits at 1,050 metres in the Val d’Illiez, beneath the majestic Dents du Midi. This authentic Alpine village charms with its carved wooden chalets, lively streets and warm atmosphere typical of the Valais Chablais.

With direct access to the Portes du Soleil, one of the world’s largest ski areas, Champéry offers excellent conditions for winter sports. The cable car linking the village to the Planachaux plateau (2,000 m) provides rapid access to varied slopes, Alpine panoramas and routes for all levels. An ice rink, winter walks and gentle activities complete the family-friendly offering.

In summer, Champéry becomes a paradise for nature and mountain lovers. Panoramic hikesmountain bikingvia ferrataparagliding and excursions to mountain lakes shape the warm season. The trails offer spectacular views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches in a preserved and authentic setting.

The village is also known for its modern sports centre, the Palladium de Champéry, which includes a swimming pool, ice rink, climbing wall, fitness areas and high-quality facilities for both training and recreation. Throughout the year, Champéry hosts cultural and sporting events that bring rhythm and life to the village.

Blending Alpine tradition, quality of life and sporting spirit, Champéry embodies a destination where nature, authenticity and emotion come together harmoniously.
